To support young people in fostering respectful relationships with the land, all while developing a deeper sense of empathy, awareness and community.
Rivers to Ridges designs, supports and delivers outdoor and land-based programs for young people year-round.
We are based out of Whitehorse, Yukon and also run programs across the Territory. We respectfully acknowledge that we live and work on the traditional territory of the Kwanlin Dün First Nation and Ta'an Kwäch'än Council. We work to actively include local Elders and knowledge holders in our programs to bring their unique cultural teachings and stories of this land. Learn more about our Commitment to Reconciliation.
Our Impact
We have reached over 3,000 young people across the Yukon.
Yukoners young & old have experienced over 30,000 hours of outdoor & land-based program & training time with Rivers to Ridges.
We are committed to continuing to make space for local land stewards to shape and share in all programs. We believe that the goal of reconciliation must infuse every part of our operations. See our Reconciliation Goals for more information.
